About the facilitator.......
Mary Beth is the group facilitator working as a ROE Schoolworks, Regional Office of Education consultant in School Improvement and Literacy. I have taught high school English, middle school Reading and Language Arts, and also have been an elementary school Reading Specialist. I have a husband, son, and two Shih Tzu dogs that keep me busy. I hope you will enjoy this book study and feel comfortable to share your ideas and questions. This is a learning experience for all of us!

My name is Beth Carsley. This is my first year teaching. I teach Civics (government) and Honors Civics to sophomores. I also teach Intro to Social Science to freshmen and sophomores. Last semester I taught contemporary issues to seniors. I just graduated from the University of Illinois last May.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Scott Morris and this is my first year teaching. I teach pre-algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. I just earned my teaching credential from California and decided to begin my teaching career in Illinois.

My name is Bryce Hartranft. I was born in Mons, Belgium and have moved around a lot because my dad was in the Air Force. I graduated from the University of Illinois in May 2007 with a bachelors in history.
ReplyDeleteThis is my second year teaching at RTHS and I work at Eagle Academy. I teach social studies and math as well as serve as a case manager for students.
I am Jeremy Davis. I was born in Mahomet, and went to the U of I, and ISU. So I have stayed primarily in the area, although I did study abroad for a semester in Spain.
